Description
Wall is a small town in the Badlands area of South Dakota, home of the famous Wall Drug Store. The town dates back to the 1907, grace to the extension of the Chicago and North Western Railroad. Its name comes from the "natural wall" formed by the mountains in the Badlands National Park. As you may expect, Wall is a very touristic area. I took this photo in 2014 on the main street. I was right in front of the well known drug store. Obviously, contemporary cars were parked in front of the old authentic stores. Well, as much as a historic place it is, Wall will probably continue to be a contemporary touristic destination in the USA. I enhanced my photo with a patina of the old times, to emphasize the historic Wild West nostalgia of this town.

Thank you very much Rick. It was very bright on that side of the street, and the sky was overly exposed, so, I decided to make it all black and white, with a sepia like tone and some texture for the patina... well everything is possible with some good tools ;)
