I noticed this unusual door while wandering in the cobblestone old streets of Silves, Portugal.
Dating back to the Romans time, and later part of the Umayyad Emirate of Córdoba, The city became capital of the Kingdom of the Algarve region (part of within the Kingdom of Portugal), most of the Middle Age time, until 1910, with a lot of historic importance. Not only the famous medieval castle attracts the tourists here, but also the hole municipality with beautiful old buildings and streets. I couldn't believe my eyes when I sow this old mysterious wooden open door partially broken, reveling a beautiful ceramic tile painting of an orange tree, flowers, an egret, and some landscape in the background, looking like a scene from a fairyland...
