Artist's Description
A vibrant ceramic tile mural depicting an orange tree is painted on a doorway, surrounded by rustic white shutters and set against an old wall. The sunlight casts shadows from a nearby tree while a branch hangs over the tile roof and the wall, adding a natural charm to the urban scene.
I noticed this unusual door while wandering in the cobblestone old streets of Silves, Portugal. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this mysterious wooden open door partially broken, revealing a beautiful ceramic tile painting of an orange tree, flowers, an egret, and some landscape in the background, looking like a scene from a fairyland.
