Description
Looking up at the beautifully decorated ceiling of St. Mary's Cathedral in Ottawa, Canada. Also known as St Patrick's Basilica, the establishment dated back in 1855 it it has remodeled several times.
According to wikipedia, "The building is made of local stone Made in a Gothic Revival style the basilica has been made from local stone, and the carved and stenciled ceiling, marble altars, stained glass windows, and oak pews date to 1954.
* I took the photo for a photography contest with the same name "Light at the end" at SmugMug.com: Dgrin, and I won the 1-st place in 2011 :)
