Description
Looking up at the Vaulted ceiling above the nave of St. Mary's Cathedral in Ottawa, Canada, majestically, adorned with star-like decorations against a deep blue background. Elaborate ribbed arches join at the ornamental keystone, creating a symmetrical attractive design of a Gothic Revival style.
Also known as St Patrick's Basilica, the establishment dated back in 1855, the beautiful cathedral has been made of local stone and remodeled several times.
* * I took the photo for a photography contest with the same name "Light at the end", and I won the 1-st place in 2011 :)
