Description
The tall brick clock tower of the medieval citadel in Nuremberg, Germany capped with a green spire and weather vane, stands against a cloudy winter sky, at twilight. It features a large clock face midway up and is symmetrically flanked by two smaller structures with conical red-tiled roofs. The history says that it was built on the initiative of Charles IV, Holy Roman Emperor between 1352 and 1362.
