Artist's Description
Fisherman's shacks and homes before an October storm, in Salvage, a beautiful picturesque fishing village in Trinity Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador, Atlantic Canada. I loved the colorful buildings reflecting in the water of a small cove of the Atlantic Ocean, along with the fishing boat. The dark clouds of the coming stormy weather were making the fall colors of the trees and yellow dry grass even brighter.

In my pictures I'm trying to capture the sense of the places I visited and what I found interesting about them: history, architecture, lifestyle and unique moments. This brings back more memories of New Foundland. The first time there as a young family on a very tight budget, we would drive off the main road toward the end of day and down into a fishing village to buy a Cod from the local fishermen as they were docking their boats for the day. L/F
