Santuario Nuestra Señora de los Remedios is the Mexican name of the famous and beautiful Church built on top of The Great Pyramid of Cholula, in Puebla, Mexico. This is a huge Aztec historic site, and the church is also known as as Tlachihualtepetl (Nahuatl stands for "artificial mountain"). According to the history, "In 1519, Hernan Cortez and his men marched into the city and massacred 10 percent of the population, building a tiny church on top of a massive hill as a symbol of their conquest." And, it wasn't until 1910 that the pyramid underneath was finally discovered.

In my pictures I'm trying to capture the sense of the places I visited and what I found interesting about them: history, architecture, lifestyle and unique moments. Those seen but not noticed type of things things are among my favorites. I enjoy both shooting photos and digitally playing with the images for a more artistic look and feel.
