Artist's Description
Exploring the geological natural wonders formed by volcanic activities in the Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, USA, at springtime. The vibrant Belgian geothermal pool is surrounded by a rim of minerals, revealing a captivating color gradient from yellow green, to deep blue towards its center. Purple wildflowers and sparse vegetation grow in the sandy soil, at a distance from the thermal small basin, hinting at the contrasting conditions of heat and life.
* Yellowstone has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1978.
