Artist's Description
Winter scene in a neighborhood of Gatineau, Quebec, the French side of Ottawa Canada, at the blue hour in the afternoon. The image focuses on a small typical red brick grocery store with green awnings over-hanging the entrance door and front window. There is also a street metal mailbox on the sidewalk covered by snow in front of the store, that adds even more color contrast to the picture. I took this photo in the month of January 2010 and made it as a digital painting.
