Description
Two ducks resting and sunbathing on a closed gate of the locks at the Rideau Canal in Ottawa. You can notice the water accumulating on the back of the gate and the empty space in front of them. BTW: the hight of these gates made out of concrete and had wood, is about 6.7 m (22 ft) above the level of the water. It was a beautiful warm sunny day at summers end - month of August, in the Canadian Capital. The famous Rideau Canal in Ontario, Canada, has been designed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
