Description

Red poppies popping up on the edge of a green wheat field in Andalucia (Andalusia), Spain in mid May.
The vibrant green of the already high wheat slightly moving in a mild breeze, brings feelings of happiness and hopes for a great summer to come. The image shows four layers of totally different textures and contrasting colors, specific for this time of the year. In the background you can perceive the blue crests of the Spanish Sierra Nevada mountains on a beautiful blue cloudy sky. An overall optimistic happy picture, that I enhanced with a painterly touch.
