19th Century steamer trunk ready to travel, in the Bleak House museum on Fogo Island, Newfoundland, Atlantic Canada, home of the wealthiest and most powerful family in the area, part of the merchant class. The beautiful royal blue English style chest decorated with red stripes and golden metal latches was exposed at the front door along with a vintage hat box and three hats on top of it. You can also notice the old fashion wallpaper and the handmade rug in the rural style of the time.
