Artist's Description
For me, the most exciting thing to do in Faro, Portugal was to go and see the back streets with white buildings, and churches. At springtime, lots of storks are building their nests on roofs and towers, and it's just a delight to see them. I was so lucky to visit this ancient historic city in the Southern Portugal at Easter time, when the stork nests were making the delight of the tourists visiting the city. In this image I captured my husband taking a photo of those nests high up on a white church bell tower, behind the Arco da Vila historic arch. I made it as a digital watercolor picture using my ipad. I also uploaded it to the Fine Art America challenge with the theme "Perspective", day one.
