A vibrant monarch butterfly with orange and black wings is perched delicately on the blooming cherry flower of a cherry tree branch. The backdrop of a clear blue sky accentuates the natural beauty of this serene springtime moment. The butterfly I captured is actually a Red Admiral (Vanessa Atalanta on the scientific name), that I found in a garden in Ontario, Canada.
