Description
Gracious pink flamingos standing on the water of the lake /lagoon, at Celestun Biosphere Reserve, Mexico, a protected touristic area, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004.
The Biosphere Reserve is part of a vast wetland corridor in the west of the Yucatan peninsula. Its mangroves, dunes and low rain-forests are home to a huge number of migrating species, and it's particularly known for its pink flamingos.
