Description
At Dow's Lake, downtown Ottawa, Ontario, the "Man with two hats" statue is a twin of the one in Apeldoorn, Netherlands done by Henk Visch, made as a symbol of appreciation for the Canadian Forces who Liberated Holland in the world War Two. The statue replica is a gift from the Dutch government to Canada, and represents the fraternity between the two countries. I photographed this so inspired statue in a beautiful November afternoon, as a silhouette against the sunset red sky.
