Artist's Description
The Cleveland Clinic - Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health (LRCBH) building in Las Vegas, Nevada, is a unique architectural masterpiece. Its wave-like structure and metallic exteriors with irregular windows stand out amidst the standard geometric forms of urban environments. Some people refer to it as the "melting building," but I believe that its shape is very fitting for its purpose. I greatly admire Larry Ruvo for founding this health center in memory of his father, Lou Ruvo, who was a victim of Alzheimer's disease. I'm also in awe of the architect Frank Gehry for his inspired work. The building shares some similarities with the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. The building looks even more impressive against the blue sky with moving clouds.
