Artist's Description

Wooden lobster traps on the North Atlantic Ocean shore of Canada, awaiting to be placed underwater. I took this photograph on the side of a small cove of Fogo Island, Atlantic Canada, in a sunny day of summer. The fishing tools stored by the waterside, give an additional picturesque view of these fishermen villages along the coast of the Atlantic Canada. As a photographer, to me they are also nice pieces of still life, with interesting patterns, textures and contrasting colors. I made my travel photograph as a painting in digital media for a more artistic look and feel.
