Description
A glimpse inside an old-style vintage rural Canadian kitchen showcasing various kitchen items, including jars, bowls, and a basket of fruit, neatly arranged on a green shelf. * The front bowl on the right is a Mason Cash bowl from England.
This interior is part of the residential area of the historic Point Amour lighthouse in Point Amour, Labrador, Canada, and part of a series of travel photos I took while visiting it.
The building complex dates back to the early 1800s on the North Atlantic coast in southern Labrador and is designated as a Canadian Provincial Historic Site, today a museum.
I altered this photograph to a painting using digital media tools and techniques. The bold brushstrokes and vibrant colors evoke a cheerful and cozy atmosphere in this domestic scene.

Wonderful capture! I remember my grandmother's home made grape jelly in jars like those! Beautiful nostalgia with great textures and colors!
