Description
A swallow sits under the shelter of a weathered ledge, where it has built a mud nest attached to the underside. Above, a decorative iron balcony railing casts shadows on the wall, hinting at a bygone architectural era. This is a common scene in Europe in springtime, and I took my travel photograph in Estoi, Algarve, Portugal.
