Tall palm trees line the sandy beach in Havasu Lake City, Arizona, with a view of a sparkling blue lake where several boats are visible.
People enjoy the sunny day near the water's edge, with distant mountains providing a scenic backdrop. Located in southwestern Mohave County, Lake Havasu is a reservoir on the Colorado River.

The town is an active event destination for a wide range of people. During spring months, the community welcomes university students for spring break. For boaters, March to September are the prime months on Lake Havasu. The city is also home to the International World Jet Ski Final Races, multiple professional fishing tournaments, custom boat regattas, and the Havasu Balloon Festival & Fair.

In addition, since the inauguration of the London Bridge on October 5, 1971, the place has become the second-largest tourist attraction in Arizona after the Grand Canyon.
