Hanging fish to dry at Salvage Newfoundland in Atlantic Canada. Salvage is a small fishing village on the Trinity Bay, one of the many inlets along the East Coast of the Atlantic Ocean in Newfoundland. Of course the main activity of the people living here is fishing, and fish is one of their main foods. For the long months of winter, when they get a lot of snow and cold, the Newfoundland-ers dry fresh or salted fish.
