Artist's Description
Mexican fiesta in Solidad Etla, a small village in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico, during the Easter time. I was looking up at the facade of this church, which was glowing in the bright sunlight. It was decorated with hanging colorful flags going down from the top in a pattern of converging lines. A vibrant colorful image bringing hope and happiness. This photograph inspired a series of abstract images I created under the title of Fiesta Mexicana (http://travelwaysart.com/art/fiesta+mexicana), and uploaded to my abstract gallery.
