Description
Marching on the streets of the Louisbourg Fortress, the 18th Century drummer was announcing the inhabitants about an upcoming event. I was impressed by this picturesque drummer dressed in a beautiful blue coat ornamented with golden and red accents, and red socks. This was a French fortress, so that's why the colors blue white and red. He was also wearing a Napoleon type of hat, and he's vest was also matching the color of the drum. His drum was also decorated with the "fleur de lis" French symbol. A unique type of scenery, you cannot see everyday :) I still have to make the post about this historic fortress on my travelways.com website.
