Description
Neighborhood in the back streets of Belize City, Belize, Central America. I found this scene quite interesting and even if it's not very picturesque, I thought it was a good capture of the lifestyle in Belize City. People are poor there, but they manage to live and maybe even be happy with what has been given to them. I noticed the fresh washed clothes hanged up to dry in the tropical sun, contrasting with the garbage nearby. I haven't noticed the two kids having a conversation in the backyard, until I edited the photo - cute and touching :) Read more about it on my travelways.com website: http://www.travelways.com/everything-is-beautiful-in-its-own-way/

Absolutely agree with your title! Looks like a watercolor!! Interesting components to this image ~ especially love the palm trees, siding of the house!
