An intricate underwater coral reef sculpture depicts a diver equipped with scuba gear and marine life elements set against a light sky. The metal artwork features dynamic movement and vivid colors given by an accentuated patina of blues and greens, suggesting a lively underwater environment. The detail is part of the large beach Coral Reefs Monument in Cozumel, Quintana Roo, Mexico. The place is well known as a diving paradise due to the blue turquoise water of the Caribbean Sea in the Gulf of Mexico (recently called the Gulf of America)
