Description
A great aspect of the local markets in Mexico, are the dining areas. These are wonderful opportunities for travelers to taste the local authentic Mexican food, at local prices! Tortillas are common, but they are different from the ones you can have in restaurants up North… The Mexican women are making these tortillas at the place, and fill them with cheese (as quesadillas), fresh vegetables, meet, and top them with handmade salsas. Big ceramic containers are always present on the side of the cooking surface. Dining at Ajijic Market (on Lake Chapala) was for me a great experience.
