Artist's Description
A large truck is driving down a wet, reflective road under a cloudy sky, creating a moody and atmospheric scene. The landscape surrounding the road hints at a rural or remote area, with trees silhouetted against the horizon. Fall may not always be beautiful, but it can certainly be interesting and even dramatic. While on the Trans-Labrador Highway in northeastern Canada, I photographed this huge container truck driving in a rainstorm from the passenger seat of our car. The weather was challenging and hazardous, with low visibility, strong winds, and wet, slippery pavement. Despite the challenges, we had no choice but to keep going and admire the dramatic autumn landscape. The Trans-Labrador Highway is the primary road in the region, stretching 774.66 miles (1,246.69 km). To better showcase the scenery, I turned my original photo into a digital painting.
