Statue of Christopher Columbus pointing to the direction of the Americas, in Barcelona, Spain. It is a very high sculpture, mounted on a column in the main plaza of the city, by the Mediterranean Sea. Interesting to notice that the statue was actually misplaced, pointing to the East instead of West. I photographed looking up, trough the branches of a tree.

In my pictures I'm trying to capture the sense of the places I visited and what I found interesting about them: history, architecture, lifestyle and unique moments. Those seen but not noticed type of things things are among my favorites. I enjoy both shooting photos and digitally playing with the images for a more artistic look and feel.
