Artist's Description
A clear ice sculpture of the top of a chess tower reflects a snowy landscape and a blue sky, creating a mirrored effect. The smooth surface of the artwork contrasts with the textured snow in the background, while sunlight enhances the clarity and brightness of the scene. I took my still life travel photograph at the Art of Winter event in Collingwood, Ontario, Canada, an event that takes place every year to celebrate the season and gather together Canadian artists and tourists.
