Description
Scenic vista of the beautiful Cadaques, Spain, viewed from across a small bay on the Costa Brava of the Mediterranean Sea (North east of Spain). This place with its white walls and red ceramic roofs is a very popular place to visit and also used to be home to many celebrities, especially in the summertime. Because of the presence of Salvador Daly, the place was also visited by other well-known artists including Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró, Marcel Duchamp, Richard Hamilton, Albert Ràfols-Casamada, Antoni Pitxot, Henri-François Rey, Melina Mercouri and Maurice Boitel also spent time here. Cadaqués is mentioned in the story "Tramontana" by Gabriel García Márquez.
I made my original photograph as a digital watercolor.
