A picturesque view of Cadaqués, a charming coastal village, on Costa Brava of the Mediterranean Sea in Girona, Catalonia, Spain, in a calm harbor, filled with various boats of different sizes. A pathway with stone blocks leads the eye toward the town and the harbor in the distance framed by lush greenery and colorful flowers in the foreground. White buildings with terracotta roofs sit at the water's edge, backed by green hills under a clear blue sky. The tallest building in the town is the 17th-century Church of St. Mary. The clear sky and blue water contribute to a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Situated at about a two-hour drive from Barcelona, the town is a popular touristic place and home to Salvador Dalí House-Museum and because of the presence of the famous surrealist Spanish artist, it has been visited by many well-known painters of the time. I took my travel photo on a sunny summer day.
