Description
I visited Bonnie Springs Ranch museum in 2015 and I'm glad I did, because, after a long history of existence, it closed in 2019. Situated in the Red Rock Canyon area, 20 miles from Las Vegas, the place dates back in 1843 and started as a water stopover for the trains going from Nevada to California. Bought by Bonnie and Al Levinson, it became a ranch surrounded by a small village. Little by little, the ranch started to be a touristic attraction from people coming from Las Vegas to visit the desert, and the owners built a western saloon, a bar restaurant, a little zoo, and a motel. A miniature train was transporting the tourists around, as you can see in one of my previous pictures. More images from this historic place will come...
