Artist's Description
Beautiful tranquil travel scene featuring a group of four silhouetted birds, flying over the tropical forest and lake in the orange golden light at sunset. It's the end of the exploration day birds' bedtime in the Caribbean, at the Biosphere Reserve in Yucatan, Mexico, a touristic protected area and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This place is part of a vast wetland corridor in the west of the Yucatan peninsula. Its mangroves, dunes and low rain-forests are home to a huge number of migrating species, like pelicans, cormorants and flamingos.
