The Town Hall (Rathaus), with its beautifully decorated sidewall, stands prominently on the river Regnitz in Bamberg, Germany, surrounded by water. The historic building actually sits in the middle of the Upper Bridge (Obere Brücke), where a few people are gathered, admiring the picturesque view. In perspective, tourists can see the old German town, displayed on the waterside, and everything is dusted with snow, suggesting the cold weather at wintertime, under a cast sky. I really liked to observe the few orange leaves on the almost bare tree in the foreground. Their color matches the orange of the painted wall, contrasting with the grays of winter scene, framing the bridge and the river in the same time.
