Description
The Arco Chato ruins in Casco Viejo, Panama, are part of the original settlement of Panama City, which today forms the archaeological site of Panama Viejo. (This historic district of Panama City, a gem of art and culture, has become a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997). Originally constructed in the 17th century, the church and convent of Santo Domingo were never rebuilt after a fire that destroyed them in 1756. I took my picture in the beautiful afternoon golden light, on a blue sky, contrasting with the cooper color of the stone and brick wall.

What beautiful colors! The blue of the sky works so well with the warm yellow, gold, and brown. Congratulations on the special "Brick" feature in Surfaces and Textures group.
