Description
I captured these female Desert Bighorn Sheep in the Valley of Fire National Park, Nevada, on a day trip from Las Vegas in the springtime. The wild sheep (Ovis Canadensis Nelsoni), live in the mountains of the southwestern regions of the USA, Although they are quite conspicuous, you need a little luck to see them, especially with their camouflaging brown-gray color, blending into the dry bushes and desert vegetation. Scared by the tourist's presence, the animals were trying to hide behind dry shrubbery, while cautiously watching the photographer - what a nice pose :)
